Stacey is a licensed mental health counselor with 14+ years of experience. She provides a nonjudgmental, empathetic space and uses culturally competent care to help clients gain insight and achieve their goals. She tailors effective techniques and practical skills to each
individual.

She works with clients 15+ across a wide range of concerns, with specialized training in trauma (CCTP-1) and anxiety (CCATP). Her experience includes depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, chronic pain, women’s health, gender and sexual identity, and relationship work, including LGBTQ+ and alternative relationships.

Professional Background

Stacey began her career as an Associate National Bank Examiner before transitioning into counseling. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology in Illinois, where she initially obtained her associate license, and later completed additional training in Indiana, including coursework in marriage and family therapy and a certificate in professional coaching.

Her experience across diverse settings has strengthened her clinical skills and broadened her perspective, allowing her to provide thoughtful, well-rounded care.

Therapeutic Approach

Stacey uses an integrative approach drawing from CBT, ACT, trauma-informed methods, Brainspotting, ERP, mindfulness, and MI. Her style is supportive and collaborative, helping clients build insight, process trauma, and develop practical tools for change. She balances compassion with appropriate challenge and accountability.

In couples therapy, she ensures all voices are heard, promotes mutual understanding, identifies unhelpful patterns, provides psychoeducation, and helps partners build skills and solutions that work for them.
